TWO by TWO

Have you ever wondered why Jesus sent the disciples out on mission, two by two?  Or why he said, “When two or more are gathered in my name…?” It seems that Jesus’ plan for the Kingdom centered on truth that when we share faith, we not only grow in discipleship, but we also become empowered evangelizers.

Heeding the words of Jesus during this Lenten season we are beginning an ongoing faith walk in our parish. 

 Purpose:  People of our parish will experience community, support and the love of Christ by entering into a partnership with one other person in the parish.  Together, you will be partners in discipleship.

How Partners Will be Chosen:  All willing people will register through, Bulletin, Flocknote or Website.  Following the choosing of a new disciple in the Acts of The Apostles.  We will trust in the Holy Spirit in the “luck of the draw.”  Names will be pulled from the collection and partnered.

Partners will be given each other’s contact information by Parish Staff.  This information will not be shared with ANYONE ELSE.

Partners will decide when and how often they talk, and what they will speak about.  Suggestions for conversation will be available on the website and Flocknote group, but partners make the decision about how their sacred conversations will happen. 

We sincerely encourage you to consider this grace-filled opportunity and encourage your neighbors.  God is always available to transform our hearts and our parish. We are offering God and each other another path to grow in discipleship.
