St. Mary of the Mount Church & St. Adalbert Church
Mark your calendars! You are invited to join us the weekend of August 13 and 14 for the celebration of St. Roch (Cholera Day) at Mary, Queen of Peace Parish. Celebrating St. Roch (Cholera Day) has been a longstanding tradition in the communities of the recently formed Mary, Queen of Peace Parish. These traditions include praying to St. Roch, the patron saint of plagues and infectious diseases, because he was such a sign of God’s healing power.
Join us beginning August 6 as we pray the Novena to St. Roch (we will continue to pray the novena for 9 days; you can pray the novena with us or at home.) There will be a special Eucharistic Adoration on August 7 at 6:30pm at St. Adalbert Church with special intentions to St. Roch. Then on August 13 at 4:00pm at St. Adalbert Church and August 14 at 11:30am at St. Mary of the Mount Church, we will offer special liturgies for St. Roch (Cholera Day).
