Family Monastery Days
Looking for some fun, meaningful time as a family before everybody goes back to school? Join us for Family Monastery Days, a two-day, ecumenical family retreat. Appropriate for all ages. Join us for all or part.
Led by two moms, one Protestant, one Catholic, these two days will embrace our common Christian heritage of prayer and joy in creation. Embracing the ancient practice of monasticism (but for families!), we will follow a rhythm of prayer, song, “work” and play. These days are intended to help you set aside time to connect with each other as a family, joyfully and without pressure. While it is meant to be a time of rejuvenation, our hope is that you also may find some practices that work for you as a family, helping you build a “practical spirituality” that you can incorporate into your own homes.
Whether you feel as though you already have a robust family spiritual practice, you’re looking for more, or this is the first time you’re exploring spirituality in your family, we would love to share this restful time and space with you and your littles. Please join us!
