St. Mary of the Mount Church & St. Adalbert Church
"The practice of this Sacrament comes from Christ himself who taught his disciples to have the same predilection for the sick and the suffering, and handed down to them the ability and the responsibility to continue to offer it in his name after his own heart of comfort and peace" - Pope Francis
The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of God's touch, healing, and comforting presence. Contrary to old Catholic beliefs, you don't have to be taking your last breaths to receive this healing sacrament! It is for anyone who need God's touch or healing in mind, body or spirit.
We typically celebrate the Annointing of the Sick after weekend masses if someone requests. Tell one of the Hospitality Ministers before mass so they can let the priest know.
The priests of the parish are also often available to visit in situations of emergency, for those who are homebound, hospitalized, or in other care facilities. Please call to request a visit.
